Risks:
It is a human issue as to why there are fewer and fewer pandas existing on this Earth. Giant Pandas are becoming extinct due to habitat destruction and this is all caused by human intervention. According to one of the Panda Specialists at the Toronto Zoo, As the population in China continues to grow larger and larger the Panda population begins to decrease due to the development of the civilians, pushing the pandas into smaller and less livable areas.
The decrease in habitat space isn't the only risk pandas deal with due to human intervention. Due to the development of more homes to be built, some reserves of bamboo are destroyed. This is an important point because pandas breed on different types of bamboo in different seasons, if one type of bamboo has been destroyed this leaves the species to starve also destroying the whole food chain.

Benefits:
After doing research, The government of China has made a conservation initiative in order to save the living species of Pandas. In order to save the current species of the Pandas, they are beginning to perform/try breeding programs to increase the number of Pandas that lie on Earth swell as banning any form of lodging near panda reserves.
