Risks:
Statistics of the Grizzly Bear species is continuously decreasing is left to question why?
It is well known that their are only two reasons for this, one being human intervention and rapid decrease of prey animals. As the population increases destruction of their habitat becomes more common by the expansion of cities, railroads, deforestation etc. Due to these expansions and remodeling of our planet Earth many grizzly bears come in close contact with humans due to their decreased area to roam around. There have been many stories of Bears showing up in backyards, and humans take their first instinct to protect themselves and kill the bear that is endangering them and their family. Statistics show that 95% of the grizzly bears who live past age 2 in North America die at the hands of humans from gunshot. People are the greatest threat to grizzly bears not only because of hunters, but also because of the human population resulting in the destruction of grizzly habitat.

Benefits:
In this society there are two types of people, the ones that help conserve the lives of endangered species and those who enjoy killing the endangered species for their own pleasure and money. Fortunately their has been debate about creating a law to conserve the lives of the endangered species, making it illegal to kill them. According to the PC government, Alberta has recently begun a conservation program affiliating with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers noting that the Grizzly bear is a threatened species making it their duty to build underpasses or overpasses on their roads to help protect these species.
